The wire tensioners of the MT 2 - 3 series are ELECTRO-MECHANICAL units, able to tension the wire by means of an electronics managing an electro-magnetic brake, and a wire recovery lever, pneumatically operated. The tensioning parameters are stored with the winding program. To be used for a wide range of wire diameters, the MT wire tensioners allow:

- to tension the programmable wire: by means of the dedicated SW, the MT wire tightener offers the possibility of changing the wire tension during the working cycle
- to position the programmable lever: as for wire tensioning, we can program the working position of the lever, to obtain a wire recovery suitable for the different phases of the working cycle
- detection of wire breaking.

The TEP wire tightener is a programmable device to regulate the wire tension. It can be used for a wide range of wire dimensions. The main features are:
- tension of the programmable wire; using specific functions of the program, the TEP wire tightener offers the possibility of changing the wire tension during the working cycle.
- position of the programmable arm; as for the wire tension, we can program the working position f the arm, to obtain a wire recovery suitable for the different phases of the working cycle
- regulation in close loop of the programmed tension, with precision loading cell;
- detection of the wire breaking.
